Accepted Forms Of Payments

Bronco Bookstore accepts several forms of payment:

Bronco Bucks (in store/online)

Student must have funds available on Bronco Bucks account to use this method. Student ID# required. To check your balance or add funds, click here:https://www.foundation.cpp.edu/broncobucks/

Cash (in store only)

Checks (in store only)

Bronco Bookstore accept personal checks but a Bronco ID is required for all transactions using this payment method, no exceptions. Returned checks may result in a hold on the student’s university account. Refunds for transactions paid by check will be processed as cash.

Credit Cards (in store/online)

Bronco Bookstore accepts the following major credit cards or debit cards displaying the following logos: VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER & AMERICAN EXPRESS. State-issued ID or PIN# is required for all transactions using this payment method.

Contactless Payments (in store only)

The Bookstore accepts the following contactless payments: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay. State-issued ID or PIN# is required for all transactions using this payment method.

Student Accounts/Financial Aid Charging (in store only/online)

Students with aid awards that have not yet disbursed, and who meet certain eligibility requirements, may charge up to $500 for textbook/course materials purchases to their Bronco Direct student accounts against their pending award disbursements. Students who utilize this program are fully responsible for any bookstore charges not covered by financial aid disbursements. For more information: Student Accounts/Financial Aid Charging Program

Department of Rehabilitation (in store only)

We accept authorized vouchers from the Department of Rehab for the items requisitioned. For information, contact your Department of Rehab counselor or representative. All items purchased through this program require counselor authorization, with any and all restrictions as specified on the authorized voucher.

Vocational Rehab / Veterans’ Administration (in store only)

We accept authorized vouchers from the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and Veterans’ Administration for the items requisitioned. For information contact your Department of Vocational Rehab or Veterans’ Administration counselor or representative. All items purchased through this program require counselor authorization, with any and all restrictions as specified on the authorized voucher.

State Procurement (P-Cards)

The Bookstore can accept State procurement cards up to the cards set limit.  Purchasing of certain items may be restricted and need to be charged directly to a State, Foundation or Philanthropic account. (This mostly includes Technology items that require State Asset tagging, ATI review and/or Campus IT administration approval.)

Cal Poly Pomona State Accounts (in store only)

All items over purchased with State Funds over $1,000 require a purchase order to be requisitioned prior to the purchase being made.  To learn more about the purchase order process visit https://www.cpp.edu/~procurement/.

Cal Poly Pomona State Purchase Orders (in store only)

Purchase orders are required for State fund purchases in excess of $1,000.  All purchase orders will come from procurement services to the Bookstore.

Grants (in store only)

The Bookstore accepts Foundation Grant accounts up to $24,999 without a purchase order .Amounts $25,000 and above require a Foundation purchase order.

Foundation Account (in store only)

The Bookstore accepts all Foundation accounts with proper identification.

Philanthropic Accounts (in store only)

The Bookstore accepts all Philanthropic accounts with proper identification.
